Near the northern core of our region is Cross County.  With five major highways, Cross County offers a range of transportation advantages. Most available sites are less than 20 minutes from I-55 and I-40. Two Class-I rail carriers (UP and BNSF) and close proximity to both the Memphis International Airport and the Clinton National Airport in Little Rock ensure easy shipping for Cross County businesses.

A host of successful local upstarts, including CrossRidge Community Hospital and Addison Shoe Company, attests to the county’s business potential.  Cross County was also the first in Arkansas to pass a county-wide sales tax to support economic development. The county also boasts Village Creek State Park, Arkansas’ largest state park, which offers camping, hiking and horseback riding, as well as The Ridges at Village Creek, a world-class Andy Dye Signature Golf Course with 27 holes of challenging golf and scenic vistas.
