As the largest of the coalition counties, Crittenden County is home to many of our region’s most important economic assets, from an expansive port and intermodal facility to the intersection of two Interstate Highways (I-40 & I-55).

With close proximity to Memphis and an eastern border that runs along the Mississippi River, Crittenden County acts as a crucial shipping hub in the Delta transportation network. Crittenden is also home to a $70 million state-of-the-art Union Pacific Railroad facility in Marion, just north of where I-40 and I-55 converge. And as part of ADTEC, the nation’s top-ranked workforce development model, Mid-South Community College makes Crittenden County a valuable resource for skilled workers.
