Forrest City Medical Center is a regional, acute care hospital accredited by the Joint Commission. The facility is licensed for 118 beds, and serves a five-county area in eastern Arkansas, providing general medicine and eighteen specialty services with 94 active and consulting physicians. Forrest City Medical Center has served as an integral part of meeting the healthcare needs of east Arkansas since 1958.
Located on Interstate 40 in the heart of the Delta, Forrest City Medical Center provides core services in general medicine, women’s health, and surgery. The hospital also provides specialty services including a Sleep Lab, a Heart Cath Lab, a Wound Care Center, and an American Heart Association award-winning Emergency Department with a Level IV Trauma Center.
ARcare, a private non-profit corporation, provides affordable health care to rural Arkansas through a network of more than 25 primary care clinics, dental clinics, pharmacies and wellness centers. ARcare’s highly-trained doctors, dentists, and healthcare professionals provide education and prevention programs to other Arkansas agencies, as well as patients.

The Medication Assistance Program (MAP) helps patients obtain prescription medications they couldn’t otherwise afford. In partnership with many pharmaceutical companies, ARcare has assisted nearly 20,000 people to receive medications.
